I wasn't very good about keeping you updated last season so here is a year in review. in the spring many of the races we cancled due to weather. in july I finally got to race at Haggerstown, Md. At this race I used my provional and run both the 450 Pro Class and the Expert Twins class. I qualified well on the 750 Harley and made the main right out of my heat. I was struggling a little on the 450 that day, and finished 13th in the final. I had a much better day on the Harley and I finished 14th in main event on the 750 and made my first Expert Main. This inspired me to work on my 750 program to get ready for 2014. I made the decission not to go out west , but to ride the 750 as much as possibel. I went up north to Canada and learned a lot, even had a few podeums.
The next Gnc Race I rode was the Peoria TT. I qualified and finished 13th on the 450 aand was very thankful I wasn.t one the many riders who crashed out.
Next was the Indy Mile and I ran well all day on both bikes. Although I qualified, i missed making the main by one possion. On the 450 I ran godd all day. I finished 3rd and was on the podeum.
The next weekend was Colonial Downs, Virginia, a new track added to the schedule. It was a 1 1/4 mile track and i was very pumped to ride there. The 450 was running great all day long and didn't have to make many changes. My dad couldn't make it but, my engine builder Ron Jewel was there. I qualified up front and won my heat as well as the final event. It was another great accomplishment for me.
Next was the Springfield Mile. I won here last year on my 450. With rule changes AMA wasn't running 450 this year. AMA wanted to try a new class, Basic Twins, I ran the 750 both days in this new class and I finished 3rd and made the podeum on the first day and finished 2nd the second day, on the podeum again.
For the last few races of the year i went to Pa and Geneva , NY to ride the 750 some more instead of riding the 450 out west. I was a very successful year and i can't wait for 2014.
